Vitamin K1
Phylloquinone, the main dietary form of vitamin K. Essential for blood clotting. Different from K2, which focuses on bones and arteries.
💡 Absorption: Easily obtained from leafy green vegetables. K2 (MK-7) is generally preferable as a supplement.
⚠️ Caution: Contraindicated with anticoagulants (warfarin, acenocoumarol). Warfarin works by blocking vitamin K. Consult a doctor before supplementing.
